Allison Hobbs finished first in the 500 freestyle Saturday to help the Jackson girls swim team place fifth at the 14-team Lindbergh Invitational.
Hobbs posted a state-qualifying time of 5 minutes, 24.33 seconds in winning the 500. Hobbs also placed second in the 200 freestyle in a qualifying time of 2:01.87.
