Jackson softball posts win over Kennett

The Jackson softball team improved to 2-0 this season with its victory over Kennett on Thursday.

Jessica Tuschhoff struck out nine batters to help Jackson pick up the 6-1 road win.

Kelci Kieth went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, two runs, a stolen base and a home run, while Brittany Feeney had a perfect night at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two runs, one RBI and four stolen bases for the Indians.

Callie Kielhofner threw a one-hit gem to lead Oran past visiting East Prairie.

Kielhofner struck out eight batters in a complete-game effort. She also went 2-for-3 at the plate to help her own cause.
