Jackson sweeps doubleheader

Bryant Steffens got the Jackson Senior Babe Ruth baseball team's season off on the right foot.

Steffens tossed a one-hitter to lead Jackson to a 4-1 victory over Bloomfield on Monday. He struck out eight.

Austin Mueller went the distance on the mound in the second game, a 12-0 decision. All of Jackson's runs came in the first inning.
