Jackson's girls basketball team started its conference slate on a good note Monday with a 45-35 win over visiting Poplar Bluff.

The Indians had 10 players in the scoring column as they evened their overall record at 3-3. Kelci Keith led Jackson with eight points, and three players had six points apiece.

Jackson is seeded second in the annual Saint Francis Medical Center Holiday Classic which will begin on Wednesday. Farmington is the top seed in the eight-team field.
