Jackson's girls basketball team defeated Farmington 54-40 on the road Monday night in a preview of next week's Class 5 District 1 opening-round matchup.
The Indians (22-2) have now beaten the Knightettes three times this season, including the finals of the HealthSouth Holiday Classic. Jackson actually trailed 25-21 at halftime before outscoring Farmington 17-4 in the third quarter.
"The whole second half we played pretty well," Jackson coach Sam Sides said.
Kylie Werner led Jackson with 16 points, and Bobbie Jones added 10.
Natalie Hooss led all scorers with 17 points for Farmington (18-5).
