Jackson's football team dominated the SEMO North Division this season, outscoring Central, Sikeston and Poplar Bluff 114-14 en route to a 3-0 conference mark.

The Indians finished undefeated in conference play for the second straight season. Jackson's domination on the field led to plenty of recognition off it, as the Indians dominated the all-conference list.

"I thought Jackson dominated the conference this year, and it was because of our players," Jackson coach Carl Gross said. "The ones who made first-team all-conference, I thought, were very deserving. Not only the effort they put in conference games, but the time and effort they put in during their careers."

Jackson had six first-team all-conference players on the offensive side of the ball and eight first-team members on defense. All but two of Jackson's first-team all-conference players were seniors. Cole Jansen made first-team on both the offensive and defensive line, and Joel Penrod was first-team running back and punter.

Eric Englehart, Rex Meyr, Grant Ressel, Nathan Warmack, Adam Collier, Brandon Beck, Drew Lowes, John Gray, Jordan Sneathen and Cameron Heath all made first-team from the Indians.

Rashad Fambro, Ty Craft and Blake Slattery made first-team from Central. Craft was first-team on both offense and defense.

Jackson second-team members were Josh Conklin, Ben Wood, Sneathen, Josh Wheeler, Mike Wood, Penrod and Austin Clardy.

Making second team for Central were Trevor Neels, David Ray, Joe Uhls and Derien Downing.
