Jackson's football team overcame a slow start to end its season on a winning note, beating visiting Seckman 21-6 Friday night.

The Indians finished with a 7-3 record. Earlier in the year, Jackson won the SEMO North Conference title at 3-0. Seckman fell to 2-8.

"We've got a lot of seniors and I feel great for them to end with a win, because they've been a great bunch, and they worked their tails off," Jackson coach Carl Gross said. "We had a good year, and the way we dominated the conference was gratifying."

Jackson trailed 6-0 at halftime on two field goals, but the Indians dominated the second half.
