BENTON -- Jerrod Hull of Sikeston inherited the lead when leader Tim Montgomery ran into the spinning Dean Adams on lap three and never looked back as he captured his first Winged Sprint car win of the year at Missouri International Racepark Saturday night.
Scott Simion, making his return to sprint car racing, finished in the second position. J.C. Sulwalske was third, with Todd Rowland fourth and Jim Farmer fifth.
Billy James of Sikeston led all 20 laps of the Super Street to take the win. Rounding out the top five were Jason Sissom, Greg King, Robert Smith and Greg Gross.
In Modified action, Benton racer Terry Johnson jumped to the lead on lap one and also led 20 laps later to take the win. Charles LaPlant was second, followed by Randy Stahley, Rodney Pense and Chris Pennel.
Keith Brugger of Jackson, in his first year of competition in the Pure Street class, won his first feature of the year. James Cooksey, Cline Myers Jr., Cline Myers Sr. and Danny Little completed the top five.
