All the local high school events reported to the Southeast Missourian.

Ciara Coomer pitched a three-inning perfect game as Delta won 15-0 at home Thursday in high school softball action.

Coomer, a sophomore, struck out six in improving to 2-6.

Machela VanGennip had a triple and a double for Delta (2-6). Jenna Henson also had a double for the Bobcats.

Adrienne Eichhorn and Jessie Evans both had a double for Chaffee (3-4). Eichhorn finished with two hits.
