Both the Gideon and Senath-Hornersville High School volleyball teams celebrated their seniors with wins on Monday evening.
Senath-Hornersville downed Caruthersville in four sets by scores of 25-10, 25-19, 21-25, 25-18.
After Tuesday’s sweep over Hayti (25-20, 25-21, 25-17), the Lions stand at 11-11-2 on the season.
Senath-Hornersville seniors are Hayley Barksdale, Chloe Edmonston, Addie Lane, Morgan Chandler, Jada Burlison and Cristina Manrique. It also was head coach Laura Harris’ birthday.
Gideon earned an impressive three-set victory over Bernie, 25-15, 25-19, 25-14, improving to a record of 17-6-1.
This year’s group of Bulldog seniors is composed of Skyla Woodall, Madison Bonee, Jayden Buchanan, Mady Clenney, Gala Darmofal and Lily Watkins.
