Notre Dame's Abbie McAlister hammered 12 kills, while senior Lydia Goodson had nine kills on 11 attempts to lift the Bulldogs to a 25-16, 25-18 volleyball victory over visiting Bloomfield on Thursday.
Marianna Below notched nine consecutive service points in the first set for Notre Dame (12-4-1) before the visiting Wildcats scored. Below had two service aces during the stretch.
Bulldogs' setter Sam Feeney added 28 assists and two service aces in the win.

Krista Rhodes tallied eight kills and a block as the Cardinals defeated the Panthers in straight sets at home.
Delaney Bawter added seven kills for Woodland (10-8-1). Vanessa Wiseman recorded six assists and Lexi King had 13 digs to pace the Cardinals defensively.
JV -- Woodland won 25-12, 25-7.
Gateway Match-up
Perryville went 3-5 in pool play at the Gateway Match-up at Oakville High School in St. Louis County.
Parkway West defeated the Pirates 25-20, 25-22; Nerinx Hall won 25-23, 25-23; Perryville defeated Rosati-Kain 25-14, 25-11; and the Pirates split with Francis Howell 25-23, 16-25.
Perryville (10-4-1) will begin bracket play Saturday.
Saxony Lutheran 25 25 Advance 15 17
Jordan Hecht and Raegan Wieser led the Crusaders attacking front with eight and six kills respectively, in a road win against the Hornets.
Brianna Mueller had 14 assists for Saxony (9-7-3), while Abigail Bergman paced the Crusaders defense with seven digs.
Krystal James had six kills for Advance (9-9-2) in the loss. Alanis Below had two blocks and Ashlyn Driskill recorded four digs for the Hornets.

Addie Evans and Skylar Rhymer each had six assists in the Rams' two-set loss on the road to the Bulldogs.
Liz Hensley had 11 digs and Natalie Woods had two blocks.

The Wildcats notched their second win in two nights by rolling past the visiting Bulldogs.
Caitlin Petty led the Wildcats with nine kills, seven assists and four service aces.
Leopold (12-1-2) received 10 assists and three digs from Emily Seiler. Bailey Cope recorded five kills, one service ace and a block, while Ashlyn Bucher had two kills, three service aces and two digs.
Fall softball
Perryville 5, St. Pius 3
Courtney Wingerter snuffed a Crusaders seventh-inning rally by recording the final out for the Pirates at home.
Wingerter also had an RBI double and scored a run for Perryville (6-10). Allison Brewer added a double and two singles in going 3 for 3.
Brandi Huber picked up the win in the circle for the Pirates. She lasted 6 2/3 innings before Wingerter came in to get the save with two runners on base.

Natalie Schlimpert took the loss for Saxony. She tossed seven complete innings and struck out four.

The Indians only took two matches in singles, but swept the three doubles matches to steal a win from the host Tigers.
Jackson coach Linda Adams said Central had beaten her squad 8-1 earlier this season.
"They took care of us pretty easily earlier this year," Adams said. "It was really great to see our girls bounce back from that and get a nice win."
