All the local high school events reported Friday to the Southeast Missourian.

Garret Reynolds finished with a game-high 14 points as the Woodland boys basketball team turned back Bloomfield 51-46 on the road Friday night.

The Cardinals (7-9) took a 39-38 lead into the fourth quarter and outscored the Wildcats 12-8 over the final eight minutes.

The Wildcats were led by Noah Vandiver with 13 points. Nathan Newell added 11 points for Bloomfield (5-10).

The two teams will meet in the first round of the Stoddard County Activities Association (SCAA) Conference Tournament this week. The Wildcats are seeded third and the Cardinals are seeded sixth.

The Rebels led by eight points at halftime before outscoring the Bulldogs 27-24 in the second half to get the win.

Zalma's D.J. Hankins notched a game-high 18 points for the Bulldogs (1-13), while Christopher Lombeida netted 10 points.

Notre Dame were not hospitable guests for Saxony Lutheran's homecoming night as the Bulldogs rolled to victory.

The Bulldogs dampened the festivities by posting a 30-point lead by halftime.

Quinn Poythress finished with a game-high 23 points for Notre Dame (9-6), while Jordan Barber added 11 points.

Jack Lake tallied 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead Saxony Lutheran (11-8).
