Kali Wingerter's double-double helped the St. Vincent girls basketball team knock off its in-town rival Saturday.
Wingerter scored a team-high 16 points to go with 14 rebounds in the Indians' 53-41 win over Perryville.
St. Vincent only led by two points before pushing its lead to eight points by halftime.
"We just hit some shots that didn't fall in the first quarter," St. Vincent coach Terry Wengert said.
Storm French added 11 points in the win.
Perryville coach Vicki Lohmann said she changed to a man defense with about three minutes left in the game and her team trailing by four. St. Vincent took advantage.
"They backdoored us and got some easy baskets," Lohmann said.
Natalie Bauwens led the Pirates with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Natalie Gremaud added four assists and eight rebounds for Perryville (6-10).
"We pushed the ball up and down the floor, we just made some crazy turnovers," Lohmann said.

Central's Lizzie Schmidt earned a trip to the state meet in the 500 freestyle. She finished ninth in the event, helping the Tigers place 19th.
