St. Vincent, the No. 2 seed, earned a trip to today's Class 2 District 2 volleyball semifinals.

The Indians rode nine kills from Chelsie Boxdorfer in their 25-17, 25-15 victory over Greenville on Monday.

Monika Smith and Amanda Steinbecker added four kills apiece in the win.

Addie Hotop added six aces and 11 assists, while Miranda Unterreiner chipped in 18 digs for St. Vincent.

The Indians will face No. 6 seed Woodland, which knocked off No. 3 seed Saxony Lutheran 23-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Kendra Pinkley smacked five kills and four blocks, while Amy McFarland added 14 assists for Woodland (4-19).

Ashley Acup had 17 digs and four aces, while Brianna Crites and Josie Long both added two kills in the win.

Jordan Hoff had 15 digs and seven kills, while Lauren Hecht had three blocks for the Crusaders (12-17-3).

Lacey Hemmann had six assists and three aces, while Sam Babcock put up 13 digs in the loss.

Top-seeded Scott City will face Clearwater in today's other semifinal.

Class 3 District 1

Megan Moldenhauer had 12 assists as No. 2 seed Perryville defeated No. 7 seed Doniphan 25-11, 25-7 in the opening round.

Natalie Bauwens had eight kills and Catie Oberndorfer added nine digs in the win.

Perryville (29-5) will face No. 3 seed Dexter, while No. 1 seed Notre Dame will face Kennett in today's semifinals.

Class 1 District 2

Bell City advanced to today's championship match by defeating Clarkton.

The Cubs took care of the Reindeer 25-14, 25-9.

Bell City will face Bernie in today's title match.

BOYS SOCCER

Notre Dame 1, Central 0

Tyler Buelow scored the game-winning goal with five minutes left in the second half.

James Holloway recorded eight saves in goal for the Bulldogs (13-10).

Jackson 4, Perryville 1

Brice Steger found the back of the next twice in the Indians' road win.

Jacob Scholl and Ryan Schlick also scored in the win.

Keagan Cavanah tallied an assist for Jackson, which led 2-0 at halftime.

Austin Baker recorded one save in goal for the Indians (13-6).
