Alexis Spriggs made Scott City's district opener a memorable one Wednesday.
Spriggs tossed a five-inning no-hitter to lead the Rams to a 13-0 victory over Jefferson in Class 2 District 2 softball action.
Spriggs struck out seven.
Melanie Lacey tripled and Stacey Heisserer went 3 for 4 in the winning effort.
The Rams will face St. Pius, a 16-1 winner over Saxony Lutheran.
St. Vincent fell to Crystal City 7-5 in the other half of the bracket. Crystal City will face Kelly.

Dustin Parsons finished first in the 100 butterfly and assisted his teammates grab seconds in the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay.
Collin Andersson finished first in the 100 breaststroke and third in the 50 freestyle.
