All the local high school events reported Thursday to the Southeast Missourian.

Ryan Fortner belted a grand slam and a double as Scott City avenged an earlier loss with a 13-10 home victory against Twin Rivers on Thursday in high school baseball.

Fortner finished 3 for 3, while teammate Forrest Copeland also had three hits. Brett Dirnberger and Trent Pobst both had two hits in the Rams' 13-hit attack.

Eric Uhrhan pitched 3 1/3 innings to notch his fourth win for Scott City (14-5). He gave up one earned run and three hits, while striking out three and walking two.

Nathan Watson took the loss for Twin Rivers (7-7).

Wyatt Easterday had two doubles to pace the Royals.

Twin Rivers defeated Scott City 12-1 less than a month ago in the Charleston Wood Bat Lucky 13 Classic.

Layton Tenkhoff had a triple among his two hits as the Red Devils won at home.

Teammate Jared Walker also had two hits for Chaffee, which outhit Naylor 5-4.

Walker was the winning pitcher. He threw a complete game, striking out 10 and walking two for Chaffee (19-5).

Taylor Davis suffered the loss for the Eagles.

Garret Reynolds smacked two doubles among his three hits as the Cardinals picked up the win at home.

Landon Johnson, C.J. McAlister and Dylan Miller all had two hits for Woodland (11-12).

Johnson was the winning pitcher. He struck out eight and walked three over 6 2/3 innings.

Zane Eggimann took the loss on the mound for Advance (4-17), which had just two hits.

Levi Davis had a double for the Hornets.

Lance Rohde smacked three doubles to lead the Blue Jays in the road rout.

Jake LeGrand, the winning pitcher, also doubled. He allowed just one hit and struck out nine over six innings. Oak Ridge evened its record at 8-8.

Dalton Coots took the loss for East Prairie.

The duo accounted for all but one of the seven hits by the Eagles (13-5).

Moore held the Eagles scoreless over the final 4 1/3 innings for the win. He allowed four hits, struck out three and walked two.

Jashawn McDaniel took the loss on the mound.

Allison Woodfin slammed a two-run home run in the bottom of the first inning to spark the Wildcats to a victory in their season finale.

Caitlin Petty notched the win and finished 9-2 in the circle. She struck out three in the complete-game peformance for Leopold, which closed at 15-3.

Danielle Roberts took the loss for Puxico.

Josie Long blasted a triple among her four hits to lead the host Cardinals to victory.

Kathlyn Cooper picked up her eighth win in the circle with a complete game for Woodland (13-5). She gave up three earned runs on 10 hits with six strikeouts and one walk.

Pitcher Hannah Clark suffered the loss for Advance (11-8). She pitched all six innings, allowing four earned runs and 14 hits. She struck out four and walked four.

Sydney Bailey had a double to pace the Hornets.

Goalkeeper Miranda Stortz made four saves as Perryville improved to 11-8.

Cassidi Tomsu scored two goals and assisted on another in the Indians' win at home.

Jeanette Powell had one goal and two assists, while Jordan Myer had a goal and one assist for Jackson (18-2).

Goalkeeper Sarah Blanton tallied three saves.

Notre Dame 4, Notre Dame (St. Louis) 1

Notre Dame scored three goals in the second half to win on the road.

Shelby Beussink, Sarah Lawrence, Taylor Rinda and Madeline Rosenquist all scored for the Bulldogs, who found themselves in a 1-1 tie at halftime.

Beussink had two assists, while Lawrence and Kaitlin Welter each had one for Notre Dame (9-8).

Goalkeeper Madison Buelow had three saves.
