Jack Lake had a triple-double with a game-high 29 points, 13 rebounds and 11 blocks to lead the fifth-seeded Crusaders to a 69-53 victory over No. 8 Holcomb in a consolation semifinal in the 57th Annual Bloomfield Christmas Tournament on Saturday.

Hunter Coe tallied 14 points and nine assists while Chase Steffens recorded eight assists for Saxony Lutheran (6-3). Zach Beal notched a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Crusaders.

Holcomb's Rudy Reeves netted a team-high 28 points and Bub Davis added 14 points for the Hornets (5-4).

Saxony Lutheran returns to the court on Monday when the Crusaders will battle No. 14 Puxico (5-3) for the consolation title. The Indians avoided an upset threat from No. 15 Van Buren 58-50 in Saturday's other consolation semifinal to advance.

Colin Schirmer netted 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the 11th-seeded Pirates to victory over No. 14 Crystal City in a consolation quarterfinal in the 58th Annual Bob Sechrest Jr. Christmas Tournament at Park Hills Central High School on Saturday.

Eli Tripp sank 16 points and Trenton Green notched 15 points for Perryville (4-4).

Crystal City's Andrew Sawdy recorded a game-high 21 points to pace the Hornets (2-7).

The Pirates continue tournament play tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. against seventh-seeded St. Pius in a consolation semifinal. The Lancers (4-5) knocked off No. 15 Viburnum 85-33 in another consolation quarterfinal on Saturday to advance.

Nathan Carroll had 19 points as the sixth-seeded Indians picked up their first win of the season over No. 7 Zalma in a consolation semifinal in the Third Annual Warrior Winter Classic at Valle Catholic High School in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.

Alex Winkler netted 17 points and Trevor Leible added 13 points for St. Vincent (1-6).

Zalma's Cole Shelby had a game-high 32 points, including six 3-pointers, for the Bulldogs (0-5).

Both teams conclude tournament action tomorrow as Zalma takes on fifth-seeded Grandview at 3 p.m. for seventh place followed by St. Vincent vying with Valley of Caledonia (1-7) for the consolation title at 4:30 p.m. The Vikings also picked up their first win of the season in the tournament's other consolation semifinal, edging the Eagles (1-8) by one point in a 48-47 squeaker.
