The Saxony Lutheran Crusaders boys basketball team dropped a 68-62 decision Wednesday against the host St. Pius X Lancers.
The Crusaders (6-6) led by two points at halftime but were outscored 25-12 in the third quarter. Corie Williams had a double-double for Saxony with 16 points and 11 boards. Grayson Meystedt added 14 points, and Chase Steffens finished with 10 points and six assists for the Crusaders. Paris Johnson contributed two points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
Luke Eanby finished with a game-high 29 points on five 3-pointers for St. Pius. Isaiah Hennessey added 22 points for the Lancers.
