Clay Roth pitched 6 1/3 innings to lead Saxony Lutheran to a 4-2 victory over Leopold in baseball action Wednesday.

Matt Stueve recorded the final two outs for the save.

Ryan Sprandel smacked a pair of doubles for the Crusaders (6-6).

Greg Davis took the loss for the Wildcats.

Kristen Begley scored the Tigers' only goal in the home defeat.

Cali Knepp collected 10 saves for Central (1-12).

Notre Dame's Gunnar Knudtson shot a 37 to earn medalist honors at the Cape Girardeau Country Club.

Tyler Arpin shot a 39, while Cody Cox and Jake Seabaugh both carded 39s for the Bulldogs.

Corey Fowler paced the Tigers with a 39, while Trent Weaver needed 42 shots to maneuver the course. Corey Connell shot a 43, while Alex Kantchev scored a 44.
