All the high school events reported Thursday to the Southeast Missourian.

Lucas Rohde and Caleb Elam combined for the shutout as Oak Ridge defeated Richland 9-0 in Thursday's opening round of the Oak Ridge baseball tournament.

Rohde struck out three and walked one over four innings to record the win.

Elam earned the save by striking out four and walking one in three innings.

Brett Thomas connected for a double and Logan Mangels went 2 for 3 for the Blue Jays (4-4).

Saxony Lutheran, which is co-hosting the tournament, defeated Meadow Heights 12-2 in six innings.

Jon Winkler and Austin Mickan both connected for a triple for the Crusaders.

Winkler and Spencer Sander both went 2 for 3 with two RBIs in the win.

Trent Kiefer went 2 for 3 with a double for Meadow Heights.

Cody Kennedy took the loss.

Rae Haven connected for a triple in the loss.

Delta continued its undefeated season with a 4-1 win over Meadow Heights.

Kendra Burnett struck out 13 in seven innings and went 2 for 3 at the plate for the Bobcats (7-0).

Samantha Bartels connected for a double and Macy Parks went 2 for 3 with an RBI in the win.

Jessica Baremore took the loss for Meadow Heights (7-3).
