The host Oran Eagles used a strong second half to defeat seventh-seeded Richland 73-40 in the opening round of the Oran Invitational Tournament.
The No. 2 Eagles led 33-25 at halftime before outscoring Richland 40-15 in the second half.
They held the Rebels to just two points in the fourth quarter.
Senior Hunter Schlosser paced the second-seeded Eagles with 30 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Senior Jacob Priggel chipped in 18 points, 14 rebounds and five steals.
Sophomore Max Priggel also finished in double-figures with 12 points.
