All the area high school events reported Thursday to the Southeast Missourian.

The Oran girls basketball team grabbed an early 12-point lead and went on to a 65-52 road victory Thursday.

Cheyanne King paced Oran (5-1) with 20 points, while Haley Glastetter followed with 14 points and Halle Woodfin had 13.
