It took the Oran boys basketball team an extra period, but the Eagles managed to fly away with a 71-64 overtime win over conference rival Chaffee for the third time this season.

Jacob Priggel and Seth Ressel bucketed 22 points apiece to lead Oran, which improved to 19-5 with the win. Priggel grabbed nine rebounds for the Eagles.

Charlie Montgomery had a game-high 33 points, including six 3-pointers, for Chaffee, which dropped to 14-8 with the loss. Trevor Morehead chipped in 12 points to pace the Red Devils.

Dexter 76, Saxony Lutheran 40

Dexter senior standout Hannah Noe netted a game-high 27 points and notched five steals to lead the Bearcats in a victory over the Crusaders.

Dexter (17-3), which is ranked ninth in the most recent poll released by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association, only held a seven-point lead at halftime. A strong second half, however, saw the Bearcats outscore the Crusaders by nearly 30 points.

Allison Jarrell sank 15 points, all from behind the arc, and dished out four assists for the Bearcats.

For Saxony Lutheran (17-4), Brianna Mueller was the lone Crusader to reach double digits with 12 points. The sophomore also dished out three assists.

Shelby Beussink added 16 points and five rebounds for Notre Dame (16-2). Karsen Powers and Annie Siebert bucketed 15 points apiece, with Powers tallying seven assists and Siebert notching five assists. Halle Lynch snagged six rebounds for the Bulldogs.

Kayla Armstrong scored 25 points to lead Westminster Christian Academy (10-9). Adrienne Horn finished with 18 points and Charisse Williams contributed 14 points for the Wildcats.
