The Oran and Advance boys basketball teams will have a fourth meeting this season to decide the Class 2 District 3 Tournament championship.

Kody Moore scored 23 points to help top-seeded Oran edge No. 4 Chaffee 68-60 in Tuesday's first semifinal at Bismarck High School in Bismarck, Mo.

Seth Ressel added 13 points, and Alex Heuring had 10 points for Oran (24-3).

Peyton Montgomery scored a game-high 25 points for the Red Devils (15-10), and Charlie Montgomery added 14 points.

In the other semifinal, Ethan Barr scored a game-high 28 points to lead second-seeded Advance in a 76-53 win over No. 3 Bismarck.

Lane Below added 18 points for Advance (21-7).

Ryan Johnston score 21 points, while Logan Blunt contributed 17 points for the Indians (22-5).

The Eagles and Hornets will square off for the district title at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Oran has won two of the three previous encounters with Advance this season, and the Eagles also knocked off the Hornets in the past two district title games.

Scott City's season came to a close after a loss to top-seeded Clearwater in a semifinal at West County High School in Park Hills, Mo.

The Rams closed with a 14-12 record.

The Tigers (22-3) will take on third-seeded St. Pius X of Festus for the district title. The Lancers (16-9) upset No. 2 host West County (17-11) 53-46 in the other semifinal.

Jackson 71, Hillsboro 38

The host Indians rolled to a 49-14 lead at halftime and never looked back in their final game of the regular season.

Karson King led Jackson (17-10) with a game-high 16 points, while Blake Reynolds added 12 points.

Stephen Hassell scored nine points to pace the Hawks (18-7).

Top-seeded Jackson received a bye during the first round of the Class 5 District 1 Tournament at Oakville High School in suburban St. Louis. The Indians will play the winner of the No. 4 Seckman and No. 5 Fox matchup at 5 p.m. Feb. 26.

The host Bulldogs led 41-20 at halftime and won easily to wrap up the regular season with a win.

Quinn Poythress scored 15 points to lead Notre Dame (14-11). Clayton Jansen had 13 points, while Grant Ressel added 10 points for the Bulldogs.

The Bearcats fell to 7-15.

Both teams play in the Class 4 District 1 Tournament on Saturday at the Bearcat Event Center in Dexter. The third-seeded Bulldogs will face No. 6 Perryville at 4 p.m., followed by fourth-seeded Kennett battling host No. 5 Dexter at 5:30 p.m.
