Host Notre Dame swept the boys and girls divisions at the six-team SEMO Central Conference track and field meet Monday.

The Bulldogs won 12 of the 18 events in the boys division. Jordan Barber and Rudy McClellan each picked up a pair of first-place finishes for Notre Dame.

The Notre Dame girls won eight events. Madison Little posted first-place times in the 200 and 400 meters to lead the Bulldogs.

Braden Cox took the loss for Scott City (10-12). He pitched six innings and allowed two earned runs on 11 hits with five strikeouts and no walks.

Saxony Lutheran 15, Advance 13

The Crusaders recovered from a seven-run Advance first inning with a seven-run inning of their own to defeat the Hornets at home.

Saxony Lutheran, which had 10 hits, broke loose for seven runs in the fourth and had a decisive four-run outburst in the sixth.

Chase Steffens led the Crusaders with two doubles and four RBIs. Nathan Hurst and Jack Lake each added two hits for the Crusaders (9-8). Steffens also pitched a scoreless seventh inning to pick up the save. Dano Drury notched the win.

Lane Below had a double among his two hits to pace Advance (11-11). Dawson Mayo and Creighton Miles both added two hits.
