All the scores from Thursday that were reported to the Southeast Missourian

Jackson, St. Vincent and Notre Dame advanced with victories in their first-round games Thursday in the Noon Optimist girls soccer tournament.

The Indians defeated Marion, Ill., 8-0 with no player scoring more than one goal.

Kylie Seyer had one goal and two assists, while Kasey Crowden had one goal and one assist for the Indians (2-0).

Alex Sotak added one goal and one assist, while Brooke Sanders recorded two saves in goal for the shutout.

Erin Eakins, Hailey Callis, Madison Scheper, Danielle Daume and Alexis Kelpe also scored in the win.

The Indians will play Poplar Bluff today.

Notre Dame defeated Central 5-1 in the first round.

Ashton Hesselrode, Abby Boyer and Allyson Bradshaw each had one goal and one assist in the win, while Brianne Sanders had two assists for the Bulldogs (1-1).

Anna Wren and Taylor Rinda also scored for Notre Dame.

Madison Buelow and Veronica Moore combined for the win in goal.

Brooke Evans had the Tigers' lone goal, while Allie Hardesty had the assist.

Apple Thomas recorded 12 saves for the Tigers (1-2).

St. Vincent knocked off crosstown rival Perryville 2-1.

Senior Abby Lappe scored twice in the first half for the Indians. Storm French assisted on the second goal.

Morgan Franklin scored off an assist from Allie Moldenhauer to cut the Pirates' deficit but Perryville couldn't get the equalizer.

Natalie Bauewns recorded eight saves for Perryville (0-1), while Katie Mattingly recorded three saves for the Indians (2-0).

St. Vincent will face Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m. today at Central.

GOLF

Notre Dame meet

The Bulldogs shot a 170 to win their home meet at Bent Creek Golf Course.

Notre Dame's Gunnar Knudtson shot a 5-over-par 41 to capture medalist honors.

Saxony Lutheran took second with a 197.

Collin Sprandel led the Crusaders with a 43.

Chasteen gave up one hit and struck out four over three inning before Moore struck out two over the final two innings.

Chaffee meet

The Chaffee girls took first place with 105 points, while Scott City finished second with 101.

Ellie Sigman had three first-place finishes for the Red Devils, while Chaffee's 400 relay took third.

Scott City won all three relays, and Melanie Lacey earned two first-place finishes for the Rams.

On the boys side, Scott City took first with 173 points, while Chaffee finished second with 111.

Scott City won the 800 and 400 relays, while Chaffee took the 3,200 and 1,600 relays.

Brandon Shemonia won the 1,600 and 3,200 for the Rams, while Jeremy Engelhart won the 110 and 300 hurdles for fourth-place Saxony Lutheran.

Mallory James was the winning pitcher and collected two RBIs on a triple.

Ashley Keim went 4 for 4 with a double and three RBIs, while Kylie Stoverink went 3 for 4 in the win.

Heather Baremore went 2 for 4 with two RBIs for the Panthers.
