Benjamin Parsons scored on a second-half penalty kick to lift the visiting Notre Dame boys soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Poplar Bluff Tuesday.
Thomas Himmelberg recorded the shutout in goal.

Christian Retter won two individual events and swam a leg on the victorious medley relay as Central won the three-team meet at Central Pool.
Retter touched the wall first in the 50 and 100 freestyles. Central won five events overall.
Jackson's Alex Snyder also won two individual events, claiming the 200 IM and 500 freestyle. He also swam a leg on the Indians' winning 400 freestyle relay team.
