Notre Dame used a 10-run fourth inning to defeat Fredericktown 15-5 in the semifinals of the Class 3 District 1 baseball tournament Tuesday.
Jake Pewitt went 2 for 3 with a double and four RBIs, while Trenton St. Cin tripled and Jeremy Essner doubled in the win.
Wes Glaus had two doubles for the Bulldogs (22-1).
Tanner Hiett remained undefeated on the mound. He went five innings, striking out three and walking seven.
Top-seeded Notre Dame will play No. 2 seed Kennett at 4 p.m. today at Notre Dame for the district championship.

Brett Thomas abused the baseball in helping No. 2 seed Oak Ridge defeat South Iron 12-2 in the semifinals.
Thomas went 3 for 4 with a homer and a double while driving in five runs in the five-inning ballgame.
Garret Light also connected for a home run and knocked in a pair. Light also recorded the win on the mound. He allowed one earned run over five innings.
Logan Mangels went 3 for 3, while Kyle Rohde went 2 for 3 for the Blue Jays (11-12).
The Blue Jays will play No. 5 seed Lesterville for the district championship at 4 p.m. today in Caledonia.

The Bulldogs, the top seed, improved to 11-9 and will face De Soto, the No. 4 seed, in today's 5 p.m. semifinal in Farmington.
