High school roundup: Notre Dame girls volleyball sweeps Ste. Genevieve

Notre Dame's volleyball team improved to 15-1 with a sweep of visiting Ste. Genevieve on Tuesday.

Meghan Dohogne led the Bulldogs with nine kills and 17 digs in their 25-21, 25-12 victory.

Kate Edwards had seven kills, Shannon Brennan recorded five kills and 17 assists and Allyson Bradshaw chipped in five kills and two aces for the winners.

Brooke Simpson paced the Rams with six blocks, nine kills and six digs.

Katie Hogan had six kills and 12 digs while Mikah Simpson contributed six kills, seven digs and four aces for Scott City (9-1).

Jasmine Johnson had 15 kills and seven aces as the Cubs won a road match.

Jonathan Lynch took a pass from Joe Froemsdorf and buried it for the Bulldogs' lone first-half goal.

Tyler Buelow and Ethan Huber both scored in the second half, with Froemsdorf earning a helper on both goals.

James Holloway posted the shutout.

Eagle Ridge 4, Collinsville Christian 3

Eagle Ridge won on a golden goal in overtime, raising the Eagles' record to 7-2.

Sam Davis scored twice while Aaron Margrabe and Stephen Cohen added one apiece.

Ethan Grant stopped 10 shots.
