Taylor Rinda scored two goals to lead second-seeded Notre Dame in a 4-1 victory over No. 3 Perryville in the Class 2 District 1 tournament girls soccer semifinals Tuesday night at Central.
Miranda Fowler and Annie Siebert had one goal apiece for the Bulldogs (13-8). Siebert also recorded two assists, while Kaitlin Welter and Abby Boyer had one assist each.
Goalkeeper Madison Buelow recorded two saves.
Perryville ended its season at 14-9.
Notre Dame will take on top-seeded Farmington (18-4) at 6 p.m. Thursday for the district title. Farmington rolled past host Central (8-15-1) 7-1.
The season came to an end for two Central singles players against Rockwood Summit in the Class 2 sectional individual tournament at Southeast Missouri State.
Tigers' standout Pablo Jaramillo dropped a 7-5, 7-5 decision to Brett Helbig while Central's Ryan Watts fell to Dylan Steffens, the No. 1 player in the state, 6-0, 6-1.
