All the local high school events reported Tuesday to the Southeast Missourian.

The Notre Dame boys basketball team needed three overtime periods but was able to squeeze out a 91-88 win at home against Maplewood-Richmond Heights on Tuesday.

Grant Ressel finished with a team-high 24 points for Notre Dame (12-7), while Jordan Barber added 22 points and Quinn Poythress had 16 points.

Andrew Weaver scored a game-high 37 points and Satchel McDonald chipped in 31 points for the Blue Devils (13-7).
