Quinn Poythress scored a team-high 20 points to help lead the Notre Dame boys basketball to their 20th win of the season with an 80-56 conference victory over Dexter on Tuesday.

The win also gave Notre Dame a share of the SEMO Conference regular-season title, which the Bulldogs will share with Jackson and New Madrid County Central.

"That's a special thing and hard to get," first-year coach Paul Unterreiner said about the share of the conference title.

Grant Ressel added 14 points for Notre Dame (20-4). Thomas Himmelberg pulled down seven rebounds and Ross Essner recorded five assists and four steals for the Bulldogs.

Jason Jarrell nailed a game-high 23 points to pace Dexter (9-13). Jacob Pedigo netted 16 points and Ethan Flowers dropped in 14 points for the Bearcats.

Notre Dame will host DeSoto tonight for its final home game of the season.

Jacob Smith scored 19 points to lead the Indians to victory over the Knights in their last home game of the season.

The Indians held a seven-point lead at halftime and outscored the Knights by 11 points at the end of the second half to clinch the win.

Blake Reynolds sank 16 points and Braden Wendel tossed in 13 points for Jackson (19-6).

Luke DeLine netted 19 points and Alex Mozilla chipped in 10 points to pace St. Francis Borgia (15-10).

Eli Tripp recorded 17 points and eight rebounds but it was not enough as the Pirates fell to the Knights on the road.

Luke Schlichting netted 17 points for Perryville (15-9). McGwire Bartley added 11 points for the Pirates and Conner Stark tallied 12 points and six assists.

Jordan Ankrom scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Farmington (13-11). Connor Gaige recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Grant Waddell sank 12 points and Mike Pinkley dished out six assists for the Knights.

Scott County Central 81, Chaffee 14

Scott County Central's Javonta Daniel scored a game-high 24 points as the top-seeded and state-ranked Braves crushed the eighth-seeded Red Devils in the opening round of the Class 2 District 1 Tournament at Bloomfield High School.

The Braves posted an insurmountable 30-point lead at halftime and held the Red Devils scoreless in the third quarter on their way to victory.

Jeffery Porter netted 13 points for Scott County Central (21-4). Tyus Banks and Tre Moore added 12 points each for the Braves.

Brandon Ivester had five points to lead Chaffee, which ended its season with a winless 0-20 record.

Scott County Central will face fourth-seeded South Pemiscot in a semifinal on Thursday at 6 p.m. The Bulldogs (11-11) downed fifth-seeded Campbell 82-57 in another quarterfinal on Tuesday to advance.

Oran's Tatum May and Ashlyn McIntosh scored 11 points apiece to lead the top-seeded Eagles in a lopsided 47-15 semifinal victory over the fourth-seeded Eagles of St. Albans at the Class 1 District 2 Tournament at Bell City High School.

May also tallied six steals and McIntosh grabbed six rebounds as Oran flew out to a 25-8 lead at halftime and outscored The Fulton School by 15 points at the end of the second half to book a spot to play for the district championship.

Brianna Stause dished out five assists and Allie Cummins added 10 points and seven rebounds for Oran (13-9), who will face third-seeded St. Paul Lutheran of Farmington for the district title on Thursday at 6 p.m. Stephanie Whanger drained a game-high 15 points, all from behind the arc, to lead the Giants, who upset second-seeded Delta 47-34 in Tuesday's other semifinal. Tia Jordan netted 13 points and Catherine Mell chipped in 10 points for St. Paul Lutheran (12-13).

Jamie Hodge recorded 12 points and Cooper Simpson tallied 11 points to pace Delta, which wrapped up its season with a record of 8-13.
