Neil Johnson struck out 13 and walked four while only allowing one hit in Woodland's 5-0 victory over Bell City in baseball action Monday.

David Gray went 2 for 3 with a double, while Dylan Miller went 2 for 4, including a two-run double for the Cardinals (2-0).

Andrew Dooley allowed two hits and struck out seven in the road win.

Cody Payne went 2 for 4, including a double, while Jared Walker and Alex Crowe both added two hits for the Red Devils (3-1).

Michael Kuydendall doubled, while Ian Householder took the loss despite 10 strikeouts for the Hawks.

Anna Wren scored twice to lead visiting Notre Dame to victory.

Brianne Sanders and Allyson Bradshaw added a goal apiece.

Madison Buelow and Veronica Moore split time in goal for the shutout.

Notre Dame (2-1) opened a 3-0 lead in the first half of a rematch of last year's Class 2 District 1 title game.
