All the local high school events reported to the Southeast Missourian on Tuesday.

Wyn Roberds netted the game-winning goal on an assist from Devin Ross in double overtime to lift Notre Dame to a 2-1 home victory over Sikeston on Tuesday.

Roberds also provided the assist on Blake Bauwen's goal in the first half for Notre Dame (5-4).

Goalkeeper Noah Santana had four saves.

Sam Cox scored the lone goal on an assist from Brett Johnson to pace Sikeston (4-7).

FALL SOFTBALL

Poplar Bluff 2, Jackson 0

Taylor Kirn had a triple and Shiann Clayborn had a double to account for the Indians' lone hits in the road loss.

Sophie Wunderlich took the loss for Jackson (5-7). She pitched a complete game and allowed two unearned runs. She had two strikeouts and walked none.

Adrienne Stucker went the distance in the circle for Poplar Bluff (9-5). She recorded seven strikeouts and walked one.

McKynlee Neumeyer went 4-for-4, including two triples and one double, and drove in seven runs to lead the Hawks in the road rout.

Anna Hughes notched the win for Kelly (7-3). She threw 3 2/3 innings and allowed three earned runs on seven hits. She had one strikeout and one walk.

Alexis Dock had a triple, and Hailey Noon added a double and two RBIs for the Hawks.

Taylor Dugger went the distance for Twin Rivers (5-7). She gave up 12 earned runs and recorded one strikeout and five walks for the Royals.

Drew Reischman went 2-for-2, including a double, and drove in a run in the Eagles' loss at home.

Reischman also sustained the loss on the mound for Oran (5-2). He pitched three innings and gave up two earned (one earned) on three hits. He had four strikeouts and no walks.

Ricky Julius was the winning pitcher and also doubled and batted in three runs for Puxico (3-5). He threw a complete game and allowed two earned runs. He recorded 10 strikeouts and walked eight.

Allison Bray shot a 2-over-par 38 to earn medalist honors as the host Bulldogs won a quad match with three Illinois teams at the Dalhousie Golf Club.

Massac County's Sydney Boyd carded a 6-over-par 42 to finish second individually as the Patriots placed second overall.

Maci Hotop slammed seven kills and notched 10 digs as the Pirates wrapped up regular-season conference action with a straight-set win over the Tigers.

Brooke Hogard recorded seven kills and two aces, and Ahnie Hoff added seven kills for Perryville (8-4). The Pirates posted a 4-0 record in the Jefferson County Activities Association (Large Schools Division) to clinch the conference championship.

Hannah Layton had six kills and Kayla Buxton provided 25 assists for the Pirates.

Festus fell to 0-5-1 overall and 0-1-1 in the conference.

Abbie McAlister nailed 14 kills and served six aces to extend the Bulldogs' winning streak to nine in the conference road victory.

Lexi Welter recorded nine digs and four kills for Notre Dame (15-2-1, 2-0 SEMO Conference). Briley Bieser tallied 11 digs, and Marianna Below had 10 digs. Sam Feeney added 21 assists for the Bulldogs.

Poplar Bluff dropped to 9-4-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference.

Hannah Hunt accumulated nine digs and eight kills as the Indians picked up the conference victory at home.

Autumn Reid added seven kills for Jackson (12-4-1, 2-1 SEMO Conference). Malary Burger dished out 14 assists and notched 10 digs for the Indians.

Sikeston fell to 6-9 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

Krista Rhodes recorded 10 kills, seven digs and three aces as the Cardinals snapped a three-game losing streak with the road sweep of the Tigers.

Emma Rinacke tallied five aces, four kills and four digs, while Kelsee Long added four kills. Anna Deck contributed four digs for Woodland (11-4-2). Chelsea Cureton notched nine digs, and Madison Cover dished out 19 assists for the Cardinals.

Cape Central dropped to 1-9-2.

Hannah Shemonia hammered eight kills but the host Eagles rallied from a loss in the first set to edge the Rams in a conference thriller.

Chloe Clayton served eight aces, and Kaleigh Dirden put up four blocks to pace Scott City (4-10, 0-3 SEMO Conference). Skylar Rhymer contributed 15 assists for the Rams.

Oran improved to 4-7 overall and 1-2 in the conference.

Jessica Hahs and Madison LeGrand each had three kills in the Bluejays' road loss.

Oak Ridge fell to 1-14 with the loss, while Greenville upped its record to 8-3.

St. Vincent 25 25, Grandview 8 16

The Indians remained hot with an easy conference sweep of the Eagles in Hillsboro, Mo.

St. Vincent improved to 11-4-3 overall and 2-1 in the JCAA Conference (Small Schools Division), while Grandview dropped to 4-7 overall and 0-3 in conference action.
