All the local high school events reported Saturday to the Southeast Missourian.

The Leopold boys basketball team avenged a recent loss to Oak Ridge by beating the host Blue Jays 59-51 on Saturday.

Lance Seiler scored 24 points to lead the Wildcats (14-6). Kyle Stroder added 14 points.

Ryan Below paced the Blue Jays (17-5) with 15 points and eight rebounds.

Jacob Light added 12 points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL Jackson 47, Parkway South 38

Brooke Sanders scored 19 points as Jackson won on the road.

Makenzie Quade added 12 points for the Indians (15-5), who outscored the Patriots 17-5 in the third quarter to break away from a 24-24 halftime tie.
