All the local high school events reported Friday to the Southeast Missourian.

Garrett Thele recorded a game-high 18 points to lead the Leopold boys basketball team to its first win of the season, a 60-54 victory over visiting Greenville on Friday night.

Tristan Graham, Ryan Lewis and Blake Leazenby contributed 12 points each for Leopold (1-17), which led by six points at halftime before the second-half stalemate.

Grant Miller tallied 15 points and Trey McDaniel tossed in 14 points for Greenville (9-11).
