Jordan Kluesner threw a complete-game no-hitter to lead top-seeded Scott City past tournament host Charleston in an MSHSAA Class 3 District 2 semifinal.

Kluesner gave up an unearned run in the top of the first inning, finishing with 11 strikeouts and one walk.

Braden Cox and Caden Hillemann each had a double to lead the Rams (19-7) at the plate while Dylan Keller added three base hits.

Braxton Housman took the loss on the mound for the Blue Jays (14-13). He scattered eight hits and allowed eight runs (six earned) with three strikeouts and two walks.

Chaffee 12, St. Vincent 11

Andrew Brown went 4-for-4 with four RBIs to help the third-seeded Red Devils upend the second-seeded Indians to reach the championship game of the Class 2 District 3 Tournament.

Landon Tenkhoff was the winning pitcher. He threw 6 2/3 innings and allowed eight earned runs on 12 hits. He had six strikeouts and walked seven batters. Alec Bogenpohl pitched 1/3 of an inning to close out the game, allowing one hit and walking three.

Kade Sullivan added a double and two RBIs for Chaffee.

Jordan Buchheit was tagged with the pitching loss for the Indians. He threw 1 2/3 innings and allowed four earned runs on two hits. He had one strikeout and five walks. He also had a double at the plate.

Riley Riehn blasted a home run and tallied four RBIs to pace St. Vincent, which ended its season with a record of 18-7. Joe Whistler contributed a two-run home run for the Indians.

Chaffee is scheduled to face top-seeded host and state-ranked Greenville for the district title at 5 p.m. today.

Fourth-seeded Meadow Heights fell to the Bears in five innings, ending its season in the Class 2 District 3 Tournament semifinals.

Jacob Douglas suffered the loss on the mound. He pitched four innings and allowed seven earned runs on five hits. He had three strikeouts and walked seven batters. Jordan Yamnitz had a double for Meadow Heights (12-10).

Trynt Tompkins smacked two home runs and hard four RBIs to lead Greenville (19-2).

Nate Finney had a double and batted in three runs to lead the top-seeded Cubs in the six-inning rout of the fourth-seeded host Hornets to advance to the championship game of the Class 1 District 2 Tournament.

Cole Nichols went the distance on the mound to get the win for Bell City. He allowed one earned run and tallied 11 strikeouts and two walks.

Dawson Mayo pitched 5 1/3 innings to take the loss for Advance. He gave up seven earned runs on 10 hits, struck out five and walked two.

Phoenix Beal and Michael Hood each had a hit for the Hornets (7-17).

Bell City (19-3) will face the winner of today's 4:30 p.m. semifinal between second-seeded Oran (13-8) and sixth-seeded Leopold (5-14) with date and time to be determined. The Eagles and Wildcats were originally scheduled to hit the field yesterday before Mother Nature intervened.

Poplar Bluff 2, Cape Central 1

The top-seeded Mules scored twice in the opening 13 1/2 minutes and held off the fourth-seeded Tigers in a Class 3 District 1 Tournament semifinal at Sikeston.

Lauren Rowland opened the scoring just 1 minute, 40 seconds after the kickoff when she sent a cross from the left side inside the far post. Destiny Wallace put the Mules up 2-0 on a shot off a pass from Sophia Rowland.

Cape Girardeau Central cut the deficit in half in the 31st minute when Calli House scored inside the right post after a steal in Poplar Bluff's backfield.

Central goalkeeper Kathleen Kinder made a diving save in the closing seconds of the half and also turned aside the Mules multiple times the rest of the way. The junior made 17 saves.

Central ended its season with a record of 3-18-1.

Poplar Bluff (10-13) will take on third-seeded host Sikeston (9-10-2) for the district championship. The Bulldogs upset second-seeded Farmington 2-1 in double overtime.

Jackson 4, Fox 1

Lauren Welker scored three goals to lead the top-seeded Indians to victory over the fourth-seeded host Warriors in a semifinal of the Class 4 District 1 Tournament in Arnold, Mo.

Grace Pehle netted the other goal for Jackson (19-2). Megan Clippard, Sarah Gammon and Cassidi Tomsu each had an assist for the Indians.

Goalkeeper Sam Schnicker had three saves.

Sydeny Adamec scored the lone goal for Fox, which ended its season with a record of 9-12.

The Indians will face second-seeded Northwest (Cedar Hill) at 6 p.m. Wednesday for the district championship. The Lions (14-11) edged third-seeded Seckman 2-1 in double overtime to advance to the title game, ending the Jaguars' season at 12-8.

Saxony Lutheran 11, Carnahan 0

Whitney Unterreiner netted three goals and had one assist as the top-seeded Crusaders crushed the fourth-seeded Cougars to advance to the Class 1 District 1 Tournament championship game.

Laurel Mueller recorded two goals and two assists for Saxony Lutheran (18-1), while Maddie Brune tallied two goals and one assist. Grace Mirly scored two goals and Brianna Mueller added one goal and one assist for the Crusaders. Taylor Fritsche had the other goal, while Briann Jenkins, Etienne Soto and Heather Wills contributed one assist apiece.

Goalkeeper Raegan Wieser had eight saves in the shutout.

Carnahan School closed at 5-5.

Saxony Lutheran will face the winner of tonight's (weather dependent) semifinal between second-seeded St. Vincent (13-9) and third-seeded Kelly (13-11) for the district title on Wednesday.
