Mitchell Proctor hit a double and drove in one run, as the Kelly baseball team rallied in the final inning to nip St. Vincent 7-6 on Tuesday in Perryville, Missouri.
Levi Alsup pitched 4 2/3 innings to get the win for Kelly (3-7). He gave up one unearned run on three hits, struck out three and walked one. Nathan Vicenzi added a double and got the save for Alsup, throwing the final 2 1/3 innings and allowing five earned runs on four hits with three strikeouts and six walks.
Noah Niswonger took the loss on the mound in relief. He pitched one inning and gave up one unearned run on one hit with two strikeouts and no walks. Jordan Buchheit pitched the first six innings in which he allowed six runs (three earned) on four hits with three strikeouts and five walks for St. Vincent (5-2).

The Sikeston boys and Poplar Bluff girls were crowned champions of the Perryville Invitational.
The Bulldogs finished 16 points ahead of the host Pirates on the boys' side. The Pirates won the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 relays.
On the girls' side, the Mules finished a distant 35 points ahead of Dexter for the title. Perryville's Lydia Cook finished first in the 800 run, and Notre Dame's Lindsey Powers won the pole vault event.
