Jackson used a balanced scoring attack to overwhelm visiting Perryville in girls basketball action Wednesday.

The Indians had five players score at least 10 points in their 76-30 victory over the Pirates.

Connor King led Jackson (6-5) with 15 points, while Makenzie Quade added 12.

The Indians opened a 15-point lead after one quarter and extended it to 30 points by halftime.

Natalie Bauwens led the Pirates with 12 points, while Emily Hanquist pulled down five rebounds.

Neither team connected on a 3-pointer in the contest.

Perryville (3-7) returns to action Monday when it hosts Hillsboro in only its second home game of the season.

Delta and Scott City will play for the tournament title after winning their semifinals.

The Bobcats knocked off top-seeded Charleston 58-57, while the Rams took care of Kelly 47-43.

Delta entered the fourth quarter with a six-point lead and fought off the Bluejays' rally. Freshman Machela VanGennip led the way with 25 points, while Tori Burton added 16.

Scott City rode its defense in the second quarter, holding the Hawks to four points, in its win. Stephanie Essner paced the Rams with 18 points, while Katie Hogan added 10.

Kristen Powell led Kelly with eight points.

Kelly and Charleston will play for third place at 5:30 p.m., while Scott City and Delta will square off for the title at 8:30 p.m. at Chaffee High School.
