The Jackson boys team grabbed three of the top 50 spots, including Chelsea Drum's fifth-place finish, to lead the Indians to a fifth-place team finish at the Forest Park Cross Country Festival.
Tayler Winick finished with a time of 19:39.20 and Carli Knott finished at 19:40.60.
On the boys side, the Indians placed 16th out of 36 teams in the boys green division.
Jack Jeffers had the Indians' best time at 16:23.50 and finished in the top 30 out of 280 runners.
Ean Buffington rounded out the top 50 with a time of 16:47.90 and Jackson Givens finished with time of 17:20.20 good for an 87th-place finish.
Jackson's Alex Phillips was the lone runner for the Indians in the boys white division. He finished with a time of 17:56.20.

Arcadia Valley Invitational
Garret Reynolds finished fifth with a time of 17 minutes, 28 seconds as the Woodland boys cross country team placed third in the Arcadia Valley Invitational on Saturday.
Teammate Landon Thomsen followed not too far behind in seventh with a time of 17:45. Scott City's Jesse Perry placed eighth with a 17:47.
On the girl's side, Saxony Lutheran placed fourth. Katie Richmond led the Crusaders with a 15th-place finish of 23 minutes, 44 seconds.
Woodland's Cheyenne Wells finished in the top 10 with a sixth-place time of 21:48.

Kate Lawrence doubled to left field to start a sixth-inning rally for the Indians, who took third in the Seckman softball tournament at Seckman High School on Saturday.
Lawrence went 2 for 2 with a single.
Kelsey Meystedt was the winning pitcher. She pitched a complete game and had five strikeouts.
Mackenzie Bartels and Sophie Wunderlich both went 2 for 4, while Kayla Keith and Megan Clippard each added hits.
Kristi Brucker suffered the loss, but had a double for the Hawks in the loss.

The Notre Dame softball team took second place at the Seckman Invitational Tournament on Saturday after falling to the host Jaguars 12-2 in the five-inning championship game.
Maddy Strickkland picked up the win in the circle for Seckman (11-4) while Ellie Retz took the loss for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs advanced after defeating familiar foe Jackson 5-2. Carson Freeman and Maddie Urhahn each doubled for Notre Dame in the victory over the Indians. Nikki Peters was the winning pitcher, while Sicily Johnston took the loss in the circle for Jackson.
Notre Dame (11-3) defeated Sullivan 8-1 and Eureka 3-0 earlier in the day.
