Jackson's doubles team of Jenny Powell and Montana Adams defeated Lindbergh 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 in a Class 2 Sectional 1 match Monday to advance to the state tennis tournament.
Central's doubles team of Veronica Swingle and Caroline Harding took second for the Tigers, losing to Nerninx Hall 7-5, 7-5.

The Pirates improved to 25-4 with a road win.
Marissa Erwin had seven kills and three blocks for the Pirates. Morgan Mueller finished with five blocks, while Hannah Kutz had three aces.
Kelsey McDowell had 18 assists and six digs in a road win for the Indians.
Natalie Miller had seven kills and five digs, while Melinna Craft added four kills and four aces.
Kylie Seyer had 14 digs as the Indians improved to 11-13.

Abby Landewee pounded seven kills and three aces as the Wildcats (19-3) won on the road.
Mallory James added six kills, while Sydney Eeftink had 18 assists and two digs. Mackenzie Beel added four kills, two assists and three aces.

Woodland lost to Bloomfield 20-25, 8-25 in the first round of the Stoddard County Athletic Association tournament.
Eagle Ridge lost in two games.
Heather Wiseman had seven assists and four digs, while Lyndse Hamby added four kills and six digs for the Eagles (11-8). Shelby Howell added eight digs.
