Ryan Mize, Tristan Thele and Colton Weber each finished with a double as the Jackson baseball team picked up its 10th win of the season, defeating host Paragould, Arkansas, 6-1 on Thursday.

Brayden Emmons threw a complete game to get the win for Jackson (10-8). He allowed one unearned run, struck out seven and walked no batters.

Jacob Penny took the loss on the mound for Paragould (4-11). He pitched three innings and gave up three runs (two earned) on six hits with one strikeout and one walk.

The Crusaders came from behind the get the win at home over the Bulldogs.

Saxony Lutheran trailed 4-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Nathan Hurst delivered a two-run triple to tie the game at 4-4. Pinch hitter Luke Richmond got a one-out, two-run double to give the Crusaders a 6-4 lead before scoring another run in the sixth inning.

Zalma (3-4) loaded the bases with no outs in the seventh inning. A fly ball to center field was turned into a double play when catcher Paris Johnson caught the runner off first base. Tyler Amos then struck out the final batter to give the Crusaders (9-3) the victory.

Johnson threw the first five innings and left the game tied 4-4. He allowed four runs on three hits. He walked five and struck out five. Amos came on in relief to pick up the victory on the mound. He allowed no runs on one hit. He walked two and struck out four in two innings of work.

Jordan Rellergert took the loss on the mound for St. Vincent (9-5, 2-1 JCAA Conference-Small Schools Division). He pitched six innings and gave up two earned runs on seven hits. He had four strikeouts and walked five batters.

Jeremy Isenman was the winning pitcher for St. Pius X (8-5, 3-0). He threw a one-hitter for four innings and had three strikeouts and one walk. Jacob Hirner pitched a one-hitter for the final three innings and had two strikeouts and no walked batters.

Drew Reischman reached base all of his four times at the plate, including a double, and drove in five runs as the Eagles easily handled the Braves in the six-inning conference road rout.

Blake Overfield was the winning pitcher for Oran (5-6, 2-2 Scott-Mississippi Conference). He threw 2 2/3 innings and gave up four earned runs on two hits with four strikeouts and six walks. Tanner McVay got the save, allowing no runs on three hits in 3 1/3 innings of work with seven strikeouts and one walked batter.

McVay and Preston Hahn each had three RBIs for the Eagles.

Colton Winters sustained the loss on the mound. He pitched 1/3 of an inning in which he gave up five runs (three earned) on one hit. He had one strikeout and three walks.

Gavin Pobst had a double and two RBIs to pace SCC (3-2, 1-2).

Blake Leazenby drove in five runs as the Wildcats dealt some revenge to the host Blue Jays.

Tristan Graham went the distance on the mound to get the win for Leopold (3-8). He gave up two earned runs, struck out seven and walked two batters. The Wildcats lost to the Blue Jays 8-5 a week ago in a consolation semifinal of the Oak Ridge Invitational Tournament.

Tyee Curry threw a complete game to take the loss for Oak Ridge (3-10). He allowed seven earned runs and recorded seven strikeouts and three walked batters.

The Cubs started strong and finished stronger, scoring 10 runs in the final fifth inning to blister the Indians in the conference road romp.

Peyton Maddox pitched a complete game to get the win for Bell City. He gave up two earned runs and recorded 12 strikeouts and two walks.

Cole Nichols blasted a solo home run, and Bobby Wright hit three doubles and drove in four runs for Bell City (11-2, 3-1 SCAA Conference). Nate Finney also had four RBIs for the Cubs.

Chris Siler took the loss on the mound. He pitched four innings and allowed nine runs (three earned) on nine hits. He had eight strikeouts and three walked batters.

Jordan Armstrong and Josh Hale each had a double and one RBI to pace Puxico (4-5, 1-2).

Blake Simmons went the distance to get the pitching win for Charleston (9-7). He allowed three earned runs and recorded seven strikeouts and one walk.

Dylan Baugh hit a double and drove in two runs for the Bluejays.

Vandeven struck out four batters and had a perfect game broken up by Jessica Hahs with two outs in the bottom of the fourth. Vandeven also had three RBIs for Leopold (11-1).

Klara Beel led the Wildcats' attack with three doubles and four RBIs, while Brittany Garland also had three hits.

Corin Carroll and Kalli Seabaugh had two assists and one goal apiece for St. Vincent (6-3). Courtney Brewer Molly Myers, Kaiti Schnurbusch and Kylie Zahner scored one goal each for the Indians, while Cierra Boland had two assists and Faith Kapp and Autumn Francis had one assist each.

Brewer also had one save in the net, as did fellow goalkeeper Brooke Lottes in the shutout.

Kelly dropped to 5-7 with the loss.
