Central and Jackson had strong showings at Tuesday's 22-team meet in Festus, Mo.
Central's boys were first with 95 points while Jackson placed third with 56 points.
Jackson's girls placed fourth with 60 points and Central tied for seventh with 40 points. Hazelwood East won with 94 points.
Central's boys got first-place finishes from Billy Leighton in the 3,200, Matt Deisher in the pole vault and Chris Martin in the triple jump. Jackson's Blake Smith won the long jump.
First on the girls side were Central's Asia Thomas in the 400 and Jackson's Paden Wachter in the discus. Thomas also was third in the 200.
