All the local high school events reported Tuesday to the Southeast Missourian.

The Eagle Ridge volleyball team evened its record by avenging its season-opening loss to host Westwood Baptist on Tuesday in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

The Eagles prevailed 25-22, 25-22.

Jessie Gartman and Emily Jackson both had three kills for Eagle Ridge (1-1), while Sierra Roth had six assists and three aces.

The Eagles collected their first win of the season with a rout on the road.
