Hunter Jones had 18 points, but it wasn't enough as the Eagle Ridge boys basketball team dropped its season opener Friday against host Bethel Christian Academy.
Bethel led 27-18 at halftime before holding the Eagles to six points in the third quarter.
Caleb Friedrich added 10 points for Eagle Ridge (0-1) while Anand Patel had nine.

The Eagles held a one-point lead at halftime but were limited to three points in the second half in the season-opening road loss.
Emily Jackson led Eagle Ridge (0-1) with 11 points.
