Cape Central sophomore Brogan Davis posted a first-place time of 50.26 seconds in the 100 butterfly and broke the school record to help lead the Tigers' boys swimming team to a sixth-place finish at Saturday's CoMo Invitational at the Mizzou Aquatics Center in Columbia, Missouri.
Sophomore Sam Hahs also broke the school record with his third-place time of 59.56 seconds in the 100 breaststroke. Hahs and Davis were also part of Cape Central's 200 medley relay team, which placed second with a time of 1 minutes, 38.02 seconds, also breaking the school record.

Windsor seniors Madison Harris and Hannah Hearst each hit a home run as the Owls flew to a 9-6 victory over Farmington to capture the championship at the Shawnee Park Sports Complex.
The nine-team tournament was originally scheduled to be played last weekend with 16 teams but was rained out. The tournament consisted of three teams in each pool.
Windsor dealt Notre Dame its second loss of the season in an 11-8 win followed by a 10-3 victory over Chaffee to receive first place in Pool B. The Owls edged Portageville 1-0 in the semifinals to play for the championship. Farmington advanced to the championship game following an 11-4 win over Poplar Bluff. The Mules finished first in Pool A following a 2-0 win over Lutheran South and a 3-2 victory over Jackson. The host Indians edged Lutheran South 2-1 in the opening round but then fell to the Lancers 17-8 in eight innings.

Senior Chelsea Drum was the first runner to cross the finish line as the Jackson girls cross country team won the championship in Benton, Kentucky.
Drum posted a first-place time of 18 minutes, 42.83 seconds and was one of six Indians runners who placed in the top 10 to help lead Jackson to the title.
Notre Dame's Alaina Baumgart finished with a third-place time of 19 minutes, 45.65 seconds as the Bulldogs placed 40 points behind the Indians to receive second place.
On the boys' side, Notre Dame junior Rudy McClellan posted a fourth-place time of 16 minutes, 48.40 seconds to lead the Bulldogs to second place in the team standings.
