Advance senior Hannah Clark hit for the cyle and pitched a no-hitter in leading the Hornets to a 19-1, four-inning rout of Bloomfield in girls softball Tuesday.

Clark hit for a three-run home run in the first, a triple in the second, a double in the third and a single in the fourth. She finished with seven RBIs and scored four runs.

In the circle, Clark struck out seven Wildcat batters.

Her home run was part of a six-run first for the Hornets, who improved to 10-2.

Alanis Below and Haleah Wallace each added two hits.

The game was played in Bloomfield due to field conditions in Advance, and the Hornets were the home team.

Rams pitcher Jamie Glastetter held Bismarck to one run through five innings but ran into trouble in the sixth, surrendering seven hits and eights runs in a game played in Park Hills, Missouri.

The Rams committed each of their two errors in the frame.

Glastetter struck out 11 batters, gave up 13 hits and walked four in six innings for Scott City (7-4).

Bismarck pitcher Alyssa Sago struck out 18 and yielded five hits.

The game was tied 1-1 entering the bottom of the sixth.

BASEBALL

Notre Dame 3, Poplar Bluff 1

Hunter Eftink allowed three hits in six innings in the Bulldogs' SEMO Conference win over the Mules.

Eftink finished with six strikeouts and five walks before being relieved by Graham Ruopp, who allowed one hit in the seventh inning. Notre Dame improved to 7-3 and 3-1 in the SEMO Conference.

Matt Lambert sustained the loss for Poplar Bluff (9-3, 2-1). He scattered two hits and three runs in two innings before being relieved by Brandon Stuckenschneider, who had six strikeouts and one walk in three innings.

The game was played at Notre Dame due to field conditions in Poplar Bluff, and the Mules were the home team.

The Bulldogs will take on Marshall County, Kentucky, at 5 p.m. Thursday at Busch Stadium. The game will follow Thursday's tilt between the Cardinals and Brewers.

GIRLS SOCCER

St. Vincent 2, Notre Dame 1

Jenna Winkler scored an unassisted goal in double overtime to lead the Indians past the host Bulldogs.

Winkler also provided an assist in the second half on a goal from Lauren Carron. Goalkeeper Abby Rollett finished with 14 saves for St. Vincent (6-5).

Christina Niedbalski scored an unassisted goal for Notre Dame (3-5), while goalie Claire Landewee recorded six saves.

Perryville 5, St. Clair 0

Kylie Bilek scored three goals and recorded two assists in the Pirates' road victory.

Alex Spears and Brooke Moll each added a goal for Perryville (7-2).

Spears, Maria Thieret and Marinna Mahathath also had assists.

Miranda Stortz recorded the shutout in goal.

Central 4, Fredericktown 0

The Tigers picked up a win over the Blackcats in the second round of the Hillsboro Invitational in Hillsboro, Missouri.

Abby Schupert, Madilyn Dunn, Madison Boyer and Megan Westcott each tallied goals for Central (4-6), while Jordan Collins, Schupert and Calli House each had an assist.

Tigers goalkeeper Katie Kinder finished with two saves in 60 minutes of action, while Sasia Sofo recorded a pair of saves in the final 20 minutes.

Central will face Ritenour in the third round at 4 p.m. Thursday.

GOLF

ND wins quad meet

Jack Litzelfelner shot a 1-over-par 36 to lead Notre Dame to a 10-shot victory in a four-team meet at Fox Haven Country Club in Sikeston, Missouri.

Teammate Jonathan Bell was one stroke behind with a 37. The Bulldogs' winning total of 154 was rounded out by Trent Schumer (39) and Jon Renner (42).

Jackson, led by Hunter Asher's 38, placed second with a 164.

Chaffee Open

Woodland swept both the boys and girls titles at the Chaffee Open.

The Woodland girls claimed first in seven events in finishing with 193 points, well ahead of runner-up Kelly (85). The Woodland boys won nine events and finished with 168 points, doubling the total of second-place Chaffee (84).
