The Montgomery brothers outscored Meadow Heights by themselves as the Chaffee boys basketball team opened its season Tuesday night with a resounding 80-31 home win.
Peyton Montgomery, a sophomore, poured in 20 points. Junior Charlie Montgomery added 14 points.
Ten Chaffee players found the scoring column as the Red Devils led 41-14 at halftime and 67-24 after three quarters.
Kyle Baremore paced the Panthers, also playing their season opener, with 12 points.
