The host Chaffee baseball team had five players double and only needed five innings to dispose of Delta in a lopsided 19-0 romp Thursday.
Alec Bogenpohl picked up the win on the mound. He pitched four innings, gave up two hits and had seven strikeouts.
Austin Copeland had a double and got on base all three times at bat to lead Chaffee, which improved to 8-2.
Destin Carroll sustained the loss for Delta (0-2). He pitched less than one inning and allowed eight earned runs on four hits and four walks.

The Tigers were blanked by the defending Tennessee state champion Bruins in the second round of the 23rd Annual USA Classic in Memphis, Tennessee.
Nick Wiggs took the loss on the mound. He pitched six innings and gave up two runs (one earned) on five hits and recorded four strikeouts and two walks.
Alex Garrett was the winning pitcher. He went the distance and had five strikeouts and one walk.
Logan Carey went 3 for 4 at the plate and hit a double to score the only extra-base hit of the game for the University School of Jackson (7-0).
Central (3-4) continues tournament play at 12:30 p.m. today against the loser of Arlington (Tenn.) and Memphis University (Tenn.) at Christian Brothers High School in Memphis.

Corin Carroll scored the lone goal on an assist from Courtney Brown as the Indians fell on the road.
Goalkeeper Abby Rollet had eight saves for St. Vincent (4-3).
Mia Fiedler scored both goals to lead Pacific (4-3).
The Indians return to action 8 p.m. Monday when they compete in the Windsor Invitational Tournament. The Indians will take on Farmington in the first round.
The Notre Dame boys track and field team finished nine points ahead of Valle Catholic to win the Old Settlement Invitational on Wednesday in Ste. Genevieve.
Senior Devin Ziegler posted a first-place time of 52.23 seconds to win the 400 dash. The Bulldogs also finished first in the 1,600 and 3,200 relays.
The girls finished third in the team standings. Sophomore Katie Hanners won the 800 in 2:28.14. The Bulldogs also captured first in the 1,600 relay.
