The Friday results from local high school action that was reported to the Southeast Missourian.

Central won every swimming event on its way to victory at a three-team meet at Clayton on Friday.

Ramsey Scott won two individual events and helped the 400 freestyle relay team to victory.

Caleb Coots, Sam Gramling and Jordan Gramling also were double individual winners for the Tigers.

BOYS SOCCER Granite City 1, Notre Dame 0

The Bulldogs lost to Granite City 4-2 on penalty kicks.

The game went straight to penalty kicks after both teams failed to score in regulation.

Jake Pewitt and Joe Froemsdorf both converted a penalty kick for the Bulldogs (6-8).

VOLLEYBALL Bell City 25 25 Holcomb 20 10

Trisha Slagley put up 15 assists and Alex Eakin added five kills as the Cubs earned the home win.

Jessica Maddox recorded six aces and four kills as Bell City improved to 14-8.

Meadow Hts 22 25 25 Greenville 25 20 21

Heather Dietiker smacked six kills as the Panthers rallied for the home win.

Jillian Mills added six kills and four blocks, while Hattie Cook recorded four kills. Erin Bollmann had eight kills and five blocks for Meadow Heights (10-9).

Eagle Ridge 25 25 Berean 11 17

Heather Wiseman had 10 assists and two aces while Susanna Cohen added two kills for the Eagles.
